We're excited to announce Pulse Mode — a brand-new interactive mode that transforms your event into a live, audience-driven discussion. Whether you're hosting an unpopular opinion night, running icebreakers, or moderating a panel, Pulse Mode puts the conversation in your guests' hands while keeping you in full control.
🎉 What is Pulse Mode?
Pulse Mode is a topic queue that you flip through live on the big screen. Topics can be crowdsourced from your guests ahead of time, submitted live during the event, or added directly by the host. Each topic can have polls attached, reactions from the audience, and an optional auto-advance timer that keeps the energy moving.
Think of it as the discussion board for your event — but interactive, real-time, and designed for the big screen.
🎉 How It Works
1. Build Your Topic Queue
Before your event, enable Pulse Mode in your room settings. Guests can submit their own discussion topics — think "Pineapple belongs on pizza," "The best decade for music was the 90s," or "Remote work is better than office work." You can review and approve topics before they enter the queue, or let them flow in automatically.
As the host, you can also add your own topics with optional descriptions to set the context.
2. Go Live
When you're ready, hit Start Pulse. The first topic automatically appears on the cast screen in large, readable text — perfect for TVs, projectors, or shared screens. Your guests see the active topic on their phones and can immediately start reacting and voting.
3. Engage Your Audience
For each topic, you can:
- 🎈Attach polls — Create one or more polls tied to the current topic. "Agree or disagree?" "Rate this take 1–5." Guests vote inline and results update in real time.
- 🎈Collect reactions — Guests react with emoji reactions that flow across the screen.
- 🎈Set a timer — Use auto-advance to keep things moving. When the countdown hits zero, polls close and the next topic loads automatically.
4. Navigate at Your Pace
Use the host panel to advance to the next topic, go back to a previous one, or jump to any topic in the queue. Drag and drop to reorder upcoming topics on the fly. When you advance, all open polls for the current topic close automatically.

Save Your Own Packs
Spent time crafting the perfect topic list for your event? Don't let it disappear. Save your current topic queue as a custom pack that you can reuse at future events. Give it a name, description, icon, and category — it's your personal library of go-to discussion sets.
Free users can save 1 topic pack. Pro unlocks 3, and Premium gives you 5.
Share With the Community
Think your pack is too good to keep to yourself? Toggle it to public and it becomes available in the Community Packs library for every host on Party Post Live to discover and import. You'll see how many times your pack has been imported, and the community can sort by popularity or newest.
Browse packs other hosts have shared, search by name, and import the ones that catch your eye — all without leaving your host panel. Found something inappropriate? Report it and our moderation team will review it.

Here's how it all comes together:

Pulse Mode works alongside everything you already use in Party Post Live:
- 🎈Cast screen — Pulse replaces the mixed feed when active. Switch back anytime.
- 🎈Floating PiP — Topics display in the compact floating window too — with full dark and light mode support.
- 🎈Polls — Pulse polls work independently of your room-level poll settings. Even if polls are turned off for the room, Pulse can have its own.
- 🎈Reactions — Same emoji reaction system, scoped to each topic.
- 🎈Recap — Pulse stats, hottest takes, and poll results are automatically included in your event recap page and email.

Pulse Mode is available now on all plans. Free rooms can have up to 10 topics with 2 polls per topic. Pro and Premium plans unlock higher limits and AI topic generation.
